September 2021 Simple Swaps

Let's get down to business! September boxes went out today and as always I am so excited to share the fabulous Simple Swaps inside. Starting with, 

Teatrees Coconut Foaming Hand wash bottle and 4 refill tablets. 

 What's the first thing you do before you cook? Wash your hands of course. I chose the coconut scent for this months box and I absolutely love the Teatrees initiative. They are an Aussie small business that started around the same time as Simple Swaps and I've been dying to include one of their products in a box right from the start. How amazing is it that you can refill your hand wash over and over again without any plastic packaging?

Next up we have the Decor Refillable Oil Sprayer.

I thought including this plastic item from a large Australian business could be a bit controversial but now that you know what it is I'm sure you can see the appeal right? I've been using one of these for a few years now without any problems so in my experience it stands the test of time. Depending on how you pull the trigger it will deliver either a stream of oil or a fine mist. Perfect for cooking without the need for aerosol gases. Better for you and the environment. 

This is the second time we've included and Activated Eco product and you won't be disappointed. 

These silicone baking mats are a must have addition to your eco friendly kitchen. Perfect for roasting or baking, they are easy to clean and eliminate the need to throw away baking paper. You will find just one in the Essentials Box and Deluxe Box subscribers get a two pack. 

Last but definitely not least are these absolutely stunning stainless steel measuring cups and spoons from Lis & Keif

I don't know about you but I have several incomplete sets of plastic measuring cups and spoons that I've bought over the years. Inevitably one or two break and I find myself buying a whole new set.
